I was born few weeks after 1985's harvest in Conegliano, a town known for the marvellous wine Prosecco. Soon afterwards I've been hired in the family kitchen as fruit and grapes evaluator. Here you can see a fairly recent picture of me performing the task. After few years as spaghetti manager, I was commencing having enought with boiling water. During two years of gymnasium, pondering what to do with all those surrounding grapes, I decided for continuing my studies in the local agricultural school, home of the world's oldest course in viticulture and enology, started on year 1876. After getting my title in winemaking technicalities I had some brief working experience in the field. Then I took some time to get a university degree in business admin which led me to decide for continuing my career in the wine industry, obviously. I've worked in northern and central Italy in wineries doing both hospitality and export, then moved to restaurants as accountant and wine agent for a family-sized wine shop and local distributor in Milan. Not that long thereafter I've moved abroad working on sales in London, being the UK one of the most interesting markets for wine.
